Message from the Assistant Chief
I
am responsible for leading the general operations of the department,
which includes the Uniformed Patrol Division and Criminal
Investigation Division. Both divisions strive in accomplishing the
department’s mission by improving the “quality of life” for the
citizens living in and visiting our community, treating our citizens
“fairly and equitable” as well as providing our citizens a “safe and
tranquil” community. Chief Jackson’s message to the officers who
serve in our agency is to build strong relationships and joint
partnerships with our community so we all can be successful in
reducing the likelihood of our citizens becoming victims of crimes.
Chief Jackson believes if we accomplish our mission together, we can
be successful in making our city one of the safest cities in
America.
The commanders who lead the individual teams within each division have the
privilege to lead brave and loyal officers who come to work
everyday trying to make a positive impact in our community. They
are the “backbone” of our organization and are the ones who “get the
job done.” Our organization and citizens are very fortunate to have
men and women who serve this great community because they truly care
about making a difference.
